Wedding Policies

The Hayden Lake Country Club offers its facilities for member and member sponsored weddings and receptions. The staff at the Club look forward to working with you to make this important day unforgettable. Please read through the following Club policies to ensure that you and your guests enjoy their time while on the premises.

Accounting – The Hayden Lake Country Club accepts cash and check. Credit/debit is not accepted. A service fee of 20% will be added to all HLCC charges, Idaho tax is 6%. Deposit is $1000. Billing will be mailed approximately seven days after event. All Weddings must be sponsored by a member of Hayden Lake Country Club.

Alcohol Liabilities – Hayden Lake Country Club is very firm in regards to overconsumption of alcoholic beverages. No alcohol will be served before wedding without permission of hosts. If at any time management feels that there are guests who are over legal limits or who are bringing in outside alcohol, we reserve the right to refuse further bar services to that individual or to the group as a whole. This decision will be made after notifying the host of the situation and presenting them the opportunity to correct the problem.

Amplification  – HLCC does not provide amplification for music or MC services. All ceremony and reception music must be provided by a DJ or live musician booked by the group.

Cell Phone Use – Use of cell phones within the Clubhouse is prohibited. Please take calls outside and turn cell phones to vibrate while inside the Clubhouse.

Day Use Rooms – Hayden Lake Country Club has guest rooms available for the wedding party at the current hotel rate. Please contact the front desk for more information.

Damages – You are responsible for any damages by wedding guests that occur while on the premises.

Dress Code – Hayden Lake Country Club discourages wearing jeans within the Clubhouse and does not allow baseball caps to be worn. Please advise guests to dress in "Resort Casual" attire. 

Menu  – Menu tasting may be scheduled with Catering Manager and is an additional charge. Meal guarantees are due three business days prior to event.  No outside food or beverage is permitted with the exception of the wedding cake. Leftover food is the property of Hayden Lake Country Club and may not leave the club grounds without the approval of HLCC management. Place cards must be provided by the group and are required for plated entrĂ©e dinners to identify each guest’s selection to their banquet server. All place cards must be alphabetized and given to Banquet and Events Manager at least 24 hours in advance.

On-Site Contact – Hayden Lake Country Club requires that an on-site contact for the group be designated so that our management may refer to them if any issues arise.

Parking – Hayden Lake Country Club will provide space for guest parking as well as valet shuttle service to the club before the ceremony or reception. Parking lots next to the club house are designated for members and hotel room guests and for drop off and pick up only. Wedding Party and Guests must stay in designated event areas, and use event parking.

Time Table – Events are five hours from ceremony or reception start time and outdoor events must end by 10 p.m. due to city noise ordinance. Additional hours $250++ per hour, reception must end by midnight.

Wedding Gifts & Items – All gifts are to be removed from the facilities after the event has concluded.  We will not hold gifts or other items overnight. Hayden Lake Country Club is not responsible for the security of gifts during the event. We suggest that a designated person be in charge of the gifts to ensure they are cared for during the event and properly stored afterward.
